BrickWars Sets Description

Lego Star Wars 7752 Count Dooku's Solar Sailer was a type of starship that travelled by solar winds through the use of a solar sail. The sail would reflect light produced by stars and other sources of light, and the radiation pressure produced thrust by reflecting the photons it made contact with. Count Dooku was gifted a solar sailer from Poggle the Lesser, the Archduke of Geonosis. He used the ship during the Clone Wars, which was driven by his personal droid pilot. The only drawback of the solar sailer was its lack of weaponry that made it vulnerable to enemy fire.

The Lego 7752 Count Dooku's Solar Sailer contains 385 pieces and includes 4 minifigures.

Lego Star Wars 7752 Count Dooku's Solar Sailer. I've been waiting to get my hands on this since they started advertising for it.
Pros: - New Count Dooku with curved lightsaber hilt.
- New Solar Sailer pilot and 2 Magnaguards are great.
- Dooku's Speeder.
- Flick firing missiles, landing gear, and opening wings, the ship looks like it really does in the movies and shows.
- A great set to build up your Seperatists forces.
Cons: - No enemies are included.

LEGO STAR WARS 7752: Count Dooku's Solar Sailor
By Callum Coghlan, United Kingdom

Ahhhhh, a beautiful limited edition set - classic LEGO brilliance. It was definitely worth the long trip to the nearest Toys R Us and the £40 it costed.

PROS:

7752 comes with four minifigures, including a nice pilot droid and two Magnaguard Droids. But what tops this set in the minifigure field is the newly-designed Count Dooku, equipped with his cloak and his lightsabre with a cool bent silver hilt!

The set is quite movie accurate and it has a lot of features, even if half of them never appeared in the films. The back cockpit holding the sleek, beautifully designed speeder is cleverly done and I am particularly impressed with the accurate colour scheme, which makes the set look all the more brilliant. The fact that the ship hasn't broken once, even though I accidentally forgot to put in a few big pieces in the interior part of the ship, shows how supported the ship is.

With the wings extended, the ship looks fantastic (I am not sure if this is meant to be the parachute type thing in the films. If not, then LEGO are evil to forget it!). The front cockpit seating the Pilot Droid is neat.

CONS:

Well, I'll start off by saying that Count Dooku's hair is the most ridiculous ever released by LEGO! Also, although it it an interesting flick fire missile system with a genius design, it isn't very effective at all. It is a flaw, but it doesn't matter because I won't use them due to the fact that the Solar Sailor doesn't seem to have any weaponry when seen in the films.

Overall, this set has a wonderful design, brilliant minifigures (apart from the hair), a movie accurate colour scheme and some lovely features. It is totally worth the £40 charged for it. No wonder it was a limited addition!!

Because of the flick fire missiles and Count Dooku's hair, I will deduct 0.4, giving this set a well deserved 9.6 out of 10

Lego Count Dooku Solar Sailor

Pros-1.Bigger than you think it is going to be.
2.Comes with 2 magnaguards for basically no reason.
3.Comes with a speeder you can put in the back of the ship.

Cons-1.top of ship will break when you open wings if you do not hold it.
2.cockpit is too small.
3.all of the missles will not come out when you push the switch.

I give it a 7/10.
