BrickWars Sets Description

Lego Star Wars 7673 MagnaGuard Starfighter was originally a Utapaun starfighter used in the Utapau Skyforce, and was also known as the Porax-38 starfighter. During the Clone Wars, General Grievous trained his MagnaGuards to pilot them. With droid piloting them, the Porax-38 starfighter became the MagnaGuard starfighter. It was armed with two fire-linked laser cannons. Though it did not have many weapons at its disposal, the ship itself had a high-capacity deflector shield that allowed them to take more and deliver more punishment than the fleet-based fighters, such as the vulture droids.

The Lego 7673 Magnaguard Starfighter contains 431 pieces and includes 2 minifigures.

Magnaguard Starfighter (7673)
This set contains two minifigures both Magnaguards and one Starfighter.
The Magnaguard Starfighter has many pros and many in someways it is absolutely brilliant and in other ways not so good.
Pros
Great Minifigures
Groovy flick-fire missile function
The best cockpit of all my lego sets
The Magnaguards have there own unique faces unlike other sets
Nice rotating lasers on the side which are really awesome
Some really great function ideas
Nice streamlined shape (No big chunky parts on the outside)
Good elements
Nice colours they merge together well (Different gray and Dark reds)
Flip up engine compartments.
Pros
Magnaguard does not fit in properly e.g falls out when you open the cockpit
Painfully frustrating how it breaks while you play with it took three complete builds for me get it right and even now little bits still come off
such as Back Wings and Front guns
More money than it should be
Whole wings snap off really easily
Stickers could have just been printed on the correct parts
lots of small parts
Overall I would say this is rather a display model instead of a play set however if you are looking for some rare Magnaguard minifigures this is the set for you. The build was fun and very imaginative but when I have been playing with it and a wing snaps off it is almost impossible to fix without taking it apart completely. Overall I would give this set an 7.8 out of 10.

i am reviewing the magna guard fighter(#7673). this set comes with two magna guards with their lighting sticks. the ships has plenty of pros and cons. some pros would be that the pieces are pretty cool when you build things out of it. the price was kinda resonable. if you like paying 1 dollar per lego piece. but if you build for enjoyment of the set then the magna guard fighter would be good for you. but if you are looking for durability in a set i would steer clear from this set. the wing protection breaks off really easy. and when the cover for the magna guard sticks, don't even get me started. i mean the flaps just break off if you do not keep the supporters down. and i mean i think it would be nice if you could at least fit two magna guards in it. i think lego could have done a little better with this set. they could have made the cockpit a little bigger at least to fit both magna guards.
