BrickWars Sets Description

Lego Star Wars 7263 Tie Fighter from “The Original Trilogy” T.I.E. abbreviated for Twin Ion Engine fighter was the predecessor to the Imperial TIE starfighter and its variants. It was first to use a ball-shaped cockpit with a vertical wing design similar in terms of shape to its descendants. These fighters were economical to build and easily deployed into combat from tightly packed launch bays in ordinary cargo holds. Twin Ion Engine, a powerful propulsion unit linked to a solar ionization reactor and solar array wings made the TIE fighter incredibly fast, however, hyperdrive, shields and life support systems were incompatible with its overall design. As far as armament, one or more laser cannons usually armed the TIE fighter.
The Lego Star Wars 7263 TIE Fighter was initially introduced in 2001 and re-released ithis year as a special Original Trilogy Edition.

The Lego 7263 TIE Fighter contains 159 pieces and includes 1 minifigure.

LEGO STAR WARS 7263: Imperial TIE Fighter
By Callum Coghlan, United Kingdom

This set is a brilliant army builder, but the wings weren't as sturdy as I had hoped they would be. Anyway, on to the PROS and CONS.

PROS:
This set is cheep and is a good way to build up your Imperial Fleet and your army of Shadow pilots. It also comes with Darth Vader and a light-up lightsabre, which was a specialty in 2005 with the Jedi in the Wookie Catamaran, The Ultimate lightsabre Duel and the Clone Turbo Tank all having light-up lightsabres. That is the only problem: if you buy lots of TIE fighters, you end up having lots of Darth Vaders which you don't need.

Still, onto the ship itself. It is movie-accurate and detailed, with a nice opening cockpit. The wings are well designed.

CONS:
The wings are a little flimsy and they tend to fall off. A little more support at the place where the wing connects to the fighter would resolve the problem.

This set is a good fleet builder and provides play for hours on end. My rating is 9 out of 10.

I am going to talk about the Tie fighter set number 7263. This was an ok set it was good for an army builder other than that it only came with the tie fighter and Darth vader and TIE Pilot. The only reason i would get the set was for the light up darth vader and tie.The set was for a good price , Now on to Pros and Cons.

Pros:
*light up darth vader
*Tie fighter
*TIE Pilot

Cons:
*Wobbly wings
*no room for person inside
*darth vader made no sense

This set i think gets a 7 out of 10 just because there is nothing to it.
